Busoga United continued with the fight to stay in top flight with a 1-0 narrow victory over Onduparaka Fc at Kakindu stadium on Monday 10th April.
Simon Peter Onzima 3rd minute goal was the difference on the day after capitalizing on Ibrahim Kayiwa long cross.
The same score line was recorded by the Vicent Lukyamuzi coached which in the reverse fixture at Bombo military ground.
Nicholas Muteza would have registered his name on the score sheet eight minutes off an hour mark but his effort was saved.
Laban Tibita too came close for the home team but his shot went wide.
For Onduparaka Fc, Oloro Nathan, John Rogers Okumu and Ojera Denis would have put in one each for the caterpillars but nothing yielded.
This was Busoga United’s third win in five league games (D1, L1). They move 13th with 22 points, six off the relegation zone.
Onduparaka Fc remained rock bottom of the log (15th) with 13 points after suffering the eleventh loss in 20 games.
Busoga United will travel to Mutesa || stadium Wankulukuku to face-off with the home side Express Fc on 18th of April.
Onduparaka Fc will at home on the next day welcoming fellow strugglers Bright Stars Fc.
