West Nile Regional League Promotion Play-Off Venue Date And Kickoff Time Confirmed
West Nile Regional League Associations (WNRLA) have confirmed the Promotion Play-Off Venue, Date And Kickoff Time for the 2023/24 regional league show-piece.
The promotion play-off final will be played on Sunday 19th-May-2024 at AbaBet Greenlight stadium in Arua City and kickoff time is 3:00pm local time.
This development was announced on Thursday evening via a document written by WNRLA, seen by Dribbler Sports.
“We would like to confirm and formally invite you for the West Nile Regional League play off
that shall take place on Sunday, 19th May 2024 in Arua City at Ababet Greenlight stadium at
exactly 3:00pm,” WNRLA wrote in a statement.
“The match shall involve Paidha Black Angels SC and Araka/Total FC who emerged as table
leaders of Nyagak and Nile zones respectively.”
Nyagak Zone champions Paidha Black Angels will take on the winner between Araka FC and Total FC who are set to face each other on Sunday 12th-05-24 at Booma Ground in Yumbe District.
To reach this stage Paidha Black Angels completed the season on top of the log in the Nyagak Zone with 53 points from 21 games while the winner of Nile Zone will be determined over the weekend.
At the end of the day the winner of West Nile Regional League promotion play-off will take on the winner of Northern Regional League promotion play-off that will be between Pajule Lions and Northern Gateway FC to determine the team that will be promoted to the 2024/25 FUFA Big League season.
Pajule Lions were crowned champions of Elephant Group on 40 points from 19 games while Northern Gateway FC were kings of Rhino Group on 51 points from 18 games.
