Vipers Sports Club, Soltilo Bright Stars and Mbarara City Progress to round 16 of 2022/23 Stanbic Uganda Cup after registering various wins during their round 32 fixtures this evening.

FUFA BIG League entity Mbarara City FC are through to the last 16 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup with a 1-0 win over Admin Football Club at Kakyeka stadium on Wednesday.
Admin FC are Bukedi Group table leaders in the Eastern Regional League and did not go down without a fight, but the Ankole Lions’ class shone through during a dominant second half that saw them take full control thanks to Kitegeni Henry’s lone goal from the spot in the 66 minutes.
Jinja North United (6) 0-0 (7) Vipers SC:

Last year’s finalists Vipers Sports Club once again needed a penalty shootouts to overcome FUFA Big League entity Jinja North United FC 7-6 in their knockout tie that ended 0-0 after final whistle at Kyabazinga stadium – Bugembe in Jinja.
Victory means the Venoms progressed yo the Round 16 without scoring a single goal in open play.
Mbale Heroes FC (3) 1-1 (4) Bright Stars FC:
Elsewhere SUPL entity Soltilo Bright Stars FC overcame Eastern Regional League entity Mbale Heroes FC 4-3 on penalties after their knockout tie ended 1-1 after stoppage time.
Emmanuel Loki opened the lead for the visitors Bright Stars FC before Junior Mukisa leveled matters for the hosts Mbale Heroes FC who were reduced to a man down after Etojo Amos received his marching orders.
Vipers SC, Soltilo Bright Stars FC and Mbarara City FC join Kitara FC and Wakiso Giants FC as the next teams to qualify to the Round 16 of the 2022/23 Stanbic Uganda Cup.
