
Black Power 0-2 Busoga: Onzima, Kasamba Hand Busoga United A Giant Leap In Relegation Battle
Busoga United Football Club returned to winning ways as they defeated Black Powers 2-0 in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League encounter played at AkiBua stadium on Tuesday evening.
Peter Onzima and Ronald Kasamba scored after the break to ensure Busoga United complete a double over Black Powers and keep their survive hopes alive.
Following a goalless first half, Peter Onzima gave the visitors the lead as he slotted past custodian Tonny Kymera in the 74 minutes.

Before Ronald Kasamba sealed the victory with just 5 minutes to the stoppage time after brilliantly heading home Peter Ozima’s delivery for a 2-0 win.
Victory, Busoga United’s 5th win saw them took one gaint leap in relegation battle as they remained 2nd from the bottom of the log but breathed new life in their struggle that lifted them upto 12 points level with Black Powers who occupy the 4th place from the bottom of the log after match day 16.
Both teams are back in action on Friday 24/02/23 as Black Powers visit Bright Stars at Kavuma Recreational Center while Busoga United host UPDF FC at Kakindu stadium.

Elsewhere Vipers SC and Wakiso Giants couldn’t be separated as they settled to goalless draw at St Mary’s stadium while UPDF FC and BUL FC played to a 1-1 draw at Bombo Barracks with substitute Ezekiel Katende cancelling off Hillary Onek’s opener.
