
Alfred Leku Pens Emotional Farewell Message Following Arua Hill SC Departure
Striker Alfred Leku has penned a heartfelt message to Arua Hill Sports Club fans following his departure from the club.
The 24-year old has left the Kongolo Boys to join Zambian premier league entity Zesco United Football Club on a one-year employment contract.
It makes the end of Alfred Leku’s two-year spell at Arua Hill Sports Club which started in June 2020 after his move from Proline FC.
Leku took to his Facebook account to express his gratitude to the club and wished them good luck in the coming season.
“Today I say goodbye to a magnificent club as it is Arua Hill sc, I want to thank the club for helping me to become a better player and making feel at home during my time here.” Leku posted on Facebook.
“After two years I can only say thank you to the club, my amazing fans that have supported me since the first day I wore this Jersey and of course thank you, of course good luck to my team-mates who helped me settled in since day one not only as a teammates but as friends, I say goodbye to Arua Hill sc but I take with me many memories, lessons and great moments that will live with me forever.
“It has been one of the best years of my football career, I would like to thank my coaches for helping me without them the journey would be impossible, thanks for believing me and giving me playing time,”
In the same statement, Leku also lauded Arua Hill Sports Club chairman Joel Aita Jaffer stating that he has no words to describe him but only to thank him with all his heart.
“lastly would like to thank the club president (JAFFER A’ITA Joel) I really have no words to discribe u, I can only say thank you Joel, thank you with all my heart.”
Leku before joining Arua Hill Sports Club had played for Proline FC, Vipers SC, Onduparaka FC, Jwaneng Galaxy FC (Botswana) and Express FC.
