Leo fc made history as they unveiled new jerseys.
Westnile fourth Division league side Leo fc organized a historic press conference for the first as a 4th Division club in Westnile in regard to unveiling of their new club jerseys ahead of the 2021/2022 4th Division encounters slated to kickoff this February as FUFA approves the fixtures.
Effective match day kickoff of the 2021-2022 ,4th division League season, Leo fc will don their shirts red kit for home games and Blue kit for the away games as their latest acquired principal Jersey’s.
On Sunday, 6th February 2022, management of Leo FC officially unveiled the new shirts public during a press conference held at Hotel, Habita in Mvara. Since 2016, the treasured Leo Football Club shirt has evolved for the better time immemorial.
The high profile guest list at this momentous event had the likes of the club president Etoma moses,the club CEO Abiti Morish, the club’s Head coach Samson Ceasar Ohkuti and the club’s media handler ,the club’s current players and a swarm of journalists.
Club chairman moses emphasized that Leo Football Club wants to emulate the best football clubs in Westnile and Uganda at large as they set a four year plan to play in the top tier of Ugandan league.
Leo Football Club is trying to emulate the most successful clubs in the Westnile and there are specific pillars that drive these club as Governance, Members (fan base), entertainment, Infrastructure development, finances and this is what we are adhering to.
club chairman Ayoma Eyotre Moses said their plan is to see the club in the top-flight within four years time.
“Our main target is building a brand with a natural growth thus qualifying from one stage to another,” Eyotre told reporters.
“We have a four years plan to play in the top tier league of Uganda Premier League but the immediate plan is to qualify to the regional league.”
