Nelson Mandela: Arua Hill Confirm Second Signing

StarTimes Uganda Premier League entity Arua Hill Sports Club have confirmed their second signing for the 2023-24 campaign.

The Kongolo Boys have bolstered their squad with the arrival of midfielder Nelson Mandela.

Mandela joins the Kongolo Boys on a one-year employment deal that will see him through until 2024, the club confirmed on Saturday.

“Former Busoga United and Maroons FC gigantic centre back 𝐍𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐚 has landed 🔴🇺🇬. The Arua-based defender cum midfielder has penned a year deal to stay Kongolo,” reads club statement.

The midfielder has previously featured for Busoga United and Maroons FC. He also played for Mvara SS and Kakungulu Memorial before captaining MUBS at University level.

He turns into membership the second signing for the Leopards after the arrival of versatile defender John Rogers Okumu.

Arua Hill Sports Club are set to face URA FC in the FUFA Super 8 tournament on Tuesday 8th August in Lugazi.
