
FUFA Big League: Sam Simbwa out for the first league win as Kitara fc coach.
Sam Simbwa has not registered a league win since taking over as Kitara Fc head coach, his side will be at home Kigaya primary school play ground on Thursday 2nd of March where they will welcome Lugazi Fc in the matchday 19 of the FUFA Big League.
Simbwa took over from the suspended Mark Twinamasiko as Kitara Fc head coach at the start of second round, he is assisted by George Lutalo.
Since taking over things have not yet gone well for the former URA FC tactician mostly in the league where all the three matches have ended in draws. Against rock bottom Northern Gateway Fc 0-0, Booma Fc 1-1 and recently Jinja North United Fc 1-1.
Though in the Stanbic Uganda cup they are at the round of 16 where they will visit fellow Big League side Calvary Fc. Kitara Fc kicked off this season’s Uganda cup journey by beating Buganda region League side Free Stars Fc 3-0 away in penalties after a goalless draw in normal time.
At the round of 32 they were 2-1 winners against another region League side Uganda Pentecostal University Fc at Kigaya primary school play ground.
Coming to this fixture, Kitara Fc dropped from top to 3rd on the table after a one all draw away to the struggling Jinja North United Fc. Ssenkaba George opened the scoring on the day hence opening his goal account on his second spell at the club having joined them on loan from URA FC as a direct replacement of Patrick Henry Kaddu who left the club in the January window for the Kenya Premier league side Gor Mahia Fc.
Matama Dickens levels matters for the home team hence a 1-1 stalemate.
The Hoima City side (Kirara Fc) have 34 points after 18 games two bellow leaders NEC FC who on the same day make a long and tricky trip to the second placed Mbarara City Fc.
The visiting Lugazi Fc lie 8th with 22 points after registering 6 wins, 4 draws and suffering 8 losses.
The three matches played in second round William Kyesswa’s side (Lugazi Fc) has managed four points out of the possible nine. They beat Police fc at home 1-0, then shared spoils with Ndejje University Fc away 1-1 and drawn recently settled for a goalless home stalemate with Mbarara City Fc.
The only win Kitara Fc have this season away from home came against their opponents Lugazi Fc 3-0. Thanks to a brace by John Kisakye and one by Moses Sseruyidde.
After the departure of Kaddu, Simbwa’s search for the first ever league win at Kitara Fc he will bank on strikers like Ssenkaba George, Edson Agondeze who is the club second top scorer with eight goals and Kamugisha Clinton who grabbed a late equalizer against Booma Fc in the Bunyoro derby with support from Godfrey Lwesibawa, paul Mucureezi, John Kisakye, Sseruyidde and others.
Another positive for Simbwa ahead of this one is Kitara Fc is unbeaten at home, the only time they have they have failed to collect maximum points was on matchday 17 where they drew 1-1 with their neighbors Booma Fc.

Okay but we need more wins
