Proline Fc Appoint Mugerwa Simon Peter As Head Coach
Kampala regional league side Proline football club have confirmed Mugerwa Simon Peter as their new head coach.
The CAF C licensed tactician primary role is to get Proline Football club promoted to FUFA Big League for the 2023/2024 season.
The former Uganda cup champions were relegated to 3rd division in the 2021/2022 campaign after they finished in the red zone.
Proline FC took to their various social media platforms to announce the signing of their new head coach on Tuesday evening.
“We are delighted to announce the capture of Mugerwa Simon Peter as our new head coach, it brings us immense pleasure to heartily welcome one of the fresh minds in football and its extremely gratifying to have a skilled and passionate person like you,’ reads club statement.
“Joining Proline Fc was an easy decision, it is a project that ticks so many boxes in my box.” Said Mugerwa after joining Proline Fc.
“I strongly believe that it is a challenge that will help me as a coach.” Added Mugerwa Simon.
Mugerwa has previously worked at SC Villa, Firemasters FC and lately Boltilo Brighters all as assistant coach.
At school football, Mugerwa coached Kakungulu Memorial secondary school (2011-2012), Masaka Secondary school (2012-2017) and previously Buddo secondary school (2017-2021).
