Crested Cranes Forward Signs For Italian Side Venezia FC Femminile
Crested Cranes forward Natasha Shirazi has completed her move to Italian Serie C Side Venezia Football Club Femminile.
Natasha joins the Neroverdi on a free transfer after recently parting ways with Turkish women’s side Beşiktaş.
The 26-year-old was unveiled today by Venezia FC together with 19-year-old teenage midfielder Nicole Da Canal from U.S. Sassuolo as the club concludes it’s winter transfer market.
“Venezia FC Femminile concludes the winter market with two additions to Geppino Marino’s lineup: Nicole Da Canal and Natasha Shirazi,” reads club statement.
The Ugandan female player has previously featured for B93 and Nordsjaelland in Denmark, Rayo Vallecano and FF La Solana in Spain, Maccabi Kishronot Hadera of Israel and most recently Beşiktaş in Turkey.
Natasha has two caps with the national team the Crested Cranes and was part of the women team that scooped the CECAFA Women’s Championship titles last year in Uganda.
For starters: Venezia FC Femminile is an Italian women football team that competes in the Italian Serie C tournament which is the third tier of the Italian Women Football Hierarchy.
