
OFFICIAL: URA FC Part Ways With Striker Derrick Nsimbabi
The 28-year-old Ugandan striker leaves the Tax Collectors just less than four months in the Startimes Uganda Premier League.
Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club have confirmed striker Derrick Nsimbabi has left the club.
Signed from Ethiopian side Sebeta City FC, Nsimbabi part ways with the Tax Collectors just less than four months since joining the club.
The Tax Collectors said on its various social media platforms on Saturday that Derrick Nsimbabi has Albashaer Club of Oman on mutual contracts.
“We would like to announce the departure of forward Derrick Nsibambi to Albashaer club of Oman on mutual consent,” URA FC announced on Saturday night.
“We thank him for the time he has been with us and wish him the best in his future endeavors.”
Derrick’s departure pave ways for the potential singing of Maroons FC talisman Fred Amaku who is understood to be heavily linked with a move to URA FC.
The Tax Collectors have already signed 2022 University Football league top scorer Bruno Bunyaga this window.
Sam Timbe’s guns completed the first round of the current campaign on 11th position in the StarTimes Uganda Premier league table with 14 points from 14 games.
