Uganda Premier League WRAP: BUL FC Suffer First Loss, Bright Stars Thrashed
BUL FC suffered first defeat, Gadaffi thrashed Bright Stars while Wakiso Giants and Vipers SC shared spoils in the latest round of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League encounters played on Tuesday.
Gadaffi Modern FC 3-0 Bright Star FC:
Alex Kitata scored a magical brace as Gadaffi Modern FC thrashed Brigh Stars 3-0 at Kakindu Municipal Stadium for their second win of the season.
Victory lifts Gadaffi FC to the 7th place of the log with 9 points after 6 games while Bright Stars are in the 11th place of the log with 5 points after 7 matches.
Gadaffi are back in action on Friday 18th November as they visit Wakiso Giants at Kabaka Kyabaggu while Bright Stars host Onduparaka FC on Tuesday 15th November at Kavuma Recreational Center in their next action a
Express FC 1-0 BUL FC:
Allan Kayiwa scored the only goal of the clash as Express FC stunned BUL FC 1-0 at Wankuluku stadium to hand David Isabirye his first defeat of the season.
The result saw Express move to the fourth place of the log with 11 points after 6 games while BUL FC remain at the top of the summit with 14 points after 7 matches.
Express FC are back in action on Wednesday 16th November as they visit Busoga United at Kakindu Municipal stadium while BUL FC are back in action on Friday 25 November as they host the same opponent Busoga United at FUFA Technical Center.
Wakiso Giants FC 1-1 Vipers SC:
Wakiso Giants and Vipers SC shared spoils after playing to a 1-1 draw at Kabaka Kyabaggu Sports Stadium.
Owen Kasule opened the lead for the Purple Sharks just 11 minutes from kick-off but his opener was cancelled out by Hillary Mukundane in 59 minutes.
The draw saw Wakiso move to the third place of the table with 11 points after 6 mathes while Vipers SC are in the 10th place with 5 points after 4 matches.
Both teams are back in action on Friday 11th November as Wakiso Giants face SC Villa at Wankulukuku stadium while Vipers SC challenge Blacks Power at Akibua stadium.
