FUFA BIG LEAGUE MD4 WRAP: Adjumani TC Suffer Second Defeat, NEC FC Drop Points As Ndejje University Register First Win
There were wins for Northern Gateway, Ndejje University FC and Kyetume FC during their StarTimes FUFA Big League match day 4 encounters played on Thursday evening.
Kataka FC 3-4 Ndejje University FC:
Ndejje University FC returned to their winning ways as they rallied from a goal down to defeat Kataka FC 4-3 At FUFA Technical Centre.
Brian Obedi, Otim Denis, Asiimwe Ella and Nsubuga Samuel scored for Ndejje University to hand them their first win of the season.
Meanwhile Osongo Francis, David Zaake and Latif Ssenkubuge were all on target for Kataka as they succumed to their 2nd defeat this campaign.
Ndyamuhaki Norman (Ndejje University) and Ocire Lazarus (Kataka FC) were both sent off in the first half of the clash.
Victory lifts Ndejje University to the 9th place of the log with 4 points after 4 games while Kataka FC are in the 6th place with equally 4 points from 4 games.
Both teams are back in action on Thursday 10 November as Kataka FC visit Mbarara City FC at Kakyeka stadium while Ndejje will host Calvary FC at Bombo Military play grounds.
Calvary FC 1-1 Uganda Police FC:
Calvary FC and Uganda Police FC couldn’t be seperated as they settled to a 1-1 stalemate at Midigo Primary Play Grounds.
Kilama Dickens put the Horizon Stars ahead just 4 minutes from break but substitute Kiibi William cancelled his opener with just 3 minutes to the stoppage time to ensure share of spoils.
The draw means Calvary FC remain in the 11th place of the log with 4 points after 4 games while Police FC drop in the 5th place with 7 points after 4 matches.
Both teams are back in action on Thursday 10 November as Calvary visit Ndejje at Bombo Miliatary Grounds while Police host Kyetume FC Kavuma Recreactional Grounds.
Elsewhere NEC FC dropped points for the first time as they played to goalless draw against Mbarara City FC while Adjumani Town Council FC suffered their second defeat of the season as they were beaten 2-1 by Nothern Gateway FC at Gateway stadium.
