stuttering league start for URA FC after Onduparaka fc stalemate
Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club and Onduparaka Football Club opened their 2022/23 Startimes Uganda Premier League seasons with a 0-0 stalemate at Nakisunga Ssaza Ground on Saturday evening.
Both sides had their fair share of opportunities in the game and it was the Tax Collectors who thought they had taken the lead through Nsibambi only for his goal to be ruled out for offside in the 38 minutes.
This was after Joachim Ojera missed an opportunity to put the hosts ahead as his effort bounced off the upright from Saidi Kyeyune’s delivery in the 22 minutes.
The Caterpillars also had their own chance 8 minutes from kickoff through Oketch Emmanuel but his effort was brilliantly saved by URA FC custodian Ajaib Nafian Alionzi.
The same story continued in the second half with both teams failing to find the back of the nets for another 45 minutes to settle for 0-0 draw.

Onduparaka FC are back in action on Friday 7th October as they host Sports Club Villa at Bombo Military Grounds while URA FC visit Express FC the next day.
