
2022/23 SFBL Fixture List Confirmed – No Tooro United
The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has confirmed the fixtures and starting dates for the 2022/23 StarTimes FUFA Big League Season.
While the league fixtures were confirmed today, There was no Tooro United as it has been confirmed they have been relegated to the fourth division for failing to meet the mandatory club licensing.
The 2022/23 FUFA Big League season will get underway on Thursday 13th October and climax on 18th May, 2023.
There will be a total of seven matches to complete the first week block. All fixtures ares scheduled to kick-off at 16h00 local time. Headlining the opening fixtures will be West Nile based FBL entity Calvary FC who will host NEC FC at their new stadium Midigo Primary School Ground as well as relegated Police FC will open their campaign in the second tier league as they host newcomers Lugazi FC at Kavuma Recreational Centre.
Meanwhile West Nile Regional League champions and newcomers Adjumani Town Council Faith Health & Love (FHL) and North Eastern Regional League champions Soroti FC will both make their league debuts when they face-off at Soroti Municipal stadium.
