Onduparaka FC Confirm New Captain For 2022/23 SUPL Season
West Nile Jumbos Onduparaka Football Club have offficially confirmed their new captain for the 2022/23 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season.
Expierenced goalkeeper Mathias Muwanga is the new captain for the Caterpillars.
This follows the departure of Muhammad Shaban who left the club for KCCA FC in the just concluded transfer windows.
The Caterpillars also announced that midfieder Yakini Rashid will serve as vice-captain.
Meanwhile the duo of Ojara Denis Glosh and Asimwe Kenneth are the second and third assistants respectively.
A Club Statement Read: “Technical Team has named @muwanga_mathias as the official club Captain for the 2022/2023 season. He will be assisted by Yakini Rashid, Ojara Denis Glosh and Asimwe Kenneth as first, second and third assistants respectively.”
The Caterpillars will begin their 2022/23 camaign away to Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club on Saturday 1st September 2022 at Nakisunga play grounds.
