
OFFICIAL: KCCA FC Finally Unviel Muhammad Shaban From Onduparaka FC
Kampala City Council Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) have bolstered their squad with signing Onduparaka FC striker ahead of the coming 2022-23 SUPL season.
The Caterpillars’ talisman Muhammad Shaban aka Ijagason is the latest player to join the Kasassiro Boys.
Shaban who returned to Phillip Omondi Stadium after five years has signed a two-year employment contract that will see him through until 2024.
KCCA FC’s statement reads: “Shaban Muhammad has penned a two-year deal with KCCA FC from 2022 – 2024.”
“I am so happy to return to KCCA FC.This is my second stint at the club and I come with experience that i have earned over the years,” Shaban told www.kccafc.co.ug.
“I am a better player and I want to show that on the field of play. My role as a striker is to score goals and its these goals that will help us win trophies and get back to the CAF competitions because that is where this club should be playing.”
This will be Shaban’s second stint for KCCA FC having previously featured for the club in 2017/18 season after joining from WestNile based SUPL entity Onduparaka Fc in a controversial transfer.
The 24-year-old previously played for Onduparaka FC (two stints), KCCA FC, Moroccan side Raja Casablanca and Vipers SC.
He turns into membership the seventh signing of the season after the arrivals of Kankonde Tshisungu, Moses Waiswa, Faisal Wabyoona, Saidi Mayanja, Allan Enyou and Ssenoga Muhamed Kagawa.
The club has already parted ways with Gift Ali Abubakar, Kigozi Samson Andrew, Kasirye Davis, Wafula Innocent Esimu, Erisa Ssekisambu, Kaddu Patrick, Bukenya Joseph and Yassar Mugerwa ahead of the coming campaign.
