
Ntege Excited Join Express FC
Express Football Club have completed the signing of Anwar Mustapha Ntege ahead of the coming 2022/23 campaign.
Ntege joins the Red Eagles from Busoga United Football Club where he bagged 12 goals and provided 5 assists out of 26 games last season.
He has put pen to paper on a two-year employment contract that will keep him at Wankulukuku stadium until 2024, The Club has confirmed on Tuesday.
“The Ugandan center forward has penned a 2 year contract with the Red Eagles which will see him at the club up to 2024,” reads part of club statement.
“I am excited to join Express FC,” Ntege told expressfc.co.ug.
“I have been a club fan, and I desire to help the club meet it’s targets and also looking forward to being one of the top scorers in the league.”
Manager James Odoch added: “We are glad to have Anwaru Ntege join us, he is a proven player who gives us options in the third half of the pitch especially in looking for goals.”
The forward has previously played for Ndejje University, URA FC and most recently Busoga United.
He turns into membership the seventh signing for the Red Eagles after the arrivals of Benjamin Gakumba, David Lukwago, Hassan Mubiru, Kada Bitakazibwa, Joseph Dhata and Andrew Kaggwa.
