MOUNTAIN DEW Powers Africa MotorCross Championship with Millions.

Crown Beverages through their product Mountain Dew have powered the FIM-AFRICA MOTORCROSS OF AFRICAN NATIONS CHAMPIONSHIP with financial and social support.

In an event that happened on Wednesday Morning at 5Star Speke Resort Munyonyo, Leading Motorsport Supporter, Mountain Dew offered Fifty Millions Ugandan Shillings (50,000,000)to the Federation of Motorsport Clubs in Uganda.

The 50 Millions’ Cash monies which come along with Logistical Support and Refreshments will help up in running the 19th-21st August 2022 scheduled event that will happen at Garuga Victoria Raceway track.

“we have supported Motorsports for over a decade and we pledge to continue supporting it” said Grace Namutebi,the Mountain Dew Brand Manager who also Promised a Bottle of Mountain Dew Soda as give-away for every ticket to the event.

The Event was graced by Newly appointed State Sports’ Minister ,Honourable Peter Ogwang who promised to closely work with the Federation to yield more continental glory.

An amount of about Eighty Hundred Thousand Ugandan Shillings (800,000Ugx) is at least required for each rider get on Track and this is were the FMU President,Dipu Ruparelia stated “We call upon Government and all Well-wishers to continue Supporting us”.

Team Uganda consisting of 22 riders captained by Alestair Arthur Blick will be looking at replicating 2012 history when they last hosted this event.
