‘Am super excited to join one of the best and big clubs in the country’- Mwemezi Reacts After Joining BUL FC
BUL Football Club have completed the signing of striker Dennis Mwemezi ahead of the coming 2022/23 season.
Mwemezi joins the Eastern Gaints from StarTimes Uganda Premier League Champions Vipers Sports Club.
The Stanbic Uganda Cup Champions announced on Thursday the striker had signed a two-year employment contract that will see him through August 2024,
“We can officially confirm Forward Dennis Mwemezi has joined the club on a two year deal from Vipers sports club,’ reads club statement.
“Am super excited to join one of the best and big clubs in the country, it’s the club that I think will help me grow and advance in my footballing career,” Mwemezi told bulfc.co.ug.
“My target is to play and help the team achieve more success, trophies and at least take the club into CAF confederation cup group stages.”
Speaking about this manager Alex Isabirye said: “Mwemezi is a young player nurtured by one of the best clubs in the country, he gives in 100%, his ready to learn and i think he will help the club achieve it’s objectives.”
He is the seventh signing for Alex Isabirye’s squad this transfer window after the arrivals of Frank Kalanda, Ronald Otti Ocitti, Emmanuel Obua, Tom Ikara, Athony Mayanja and Benon Tahomera.
The club also added Simeone Masaba to their technical backroom staff ahead of the coming season.
Meanwhile Simon Peter Oketch, Martin Aprem, Reagan Kalyowa and Saidi Keni are some of the players that have already extended their contracts with BUL FC.
BUL FC will symbolize Uganda in the CAF Confederations Cup after winning the 2021/22 Stanbic Uganda Cup trophy.
