Olivier Osomba Transfer. Congolese Midfielder ‘Very Happy’ After Joining Vipers SC
Olivier Omadjondo Osomba has admitted he is “very happy” to be at Vipers Sports Club after completing his move from Burundi’s Aigle Noir Makamba.
The Congolese midfieder joined the StarTimes Uganda Premier League entity as a free agent, penning a three-year employment deal at St Mary’s Stadium.
The 24-year-old will wear shirt number 24 at the club and becomes the third Congolese to sign for the club, after Cesar Manzoki (who later switched citizenship to Central African Republic) and Clovis Mbayi.
Osamba who scored five (5) goals, made seven (7) assists from 21 League games during his one-year stay at Aigle Noir Makamba admitted that he is very happy and delighted to be at the club.
He told Vipers’ Official website: “I’m really happy and delighted to be here at Vipers SC. It’s a massive club and l promise to give my best.”

He has previously played for Aigle Noir (Burundi), Etinchelles FC (Rwanda), Al Najma (Bahrain), US Tataounie (Tunisia), AS Nyuki (DR Congo), AS Dauphins Noirs (DR Congo) and AS Nyuki (DR Congo)
The defensive midfieder is joined by his fellow countryman and former AS Vita custodian Alfred Macumu Mudekereza who was univieled by the club few hours after Osamba’s signing together with the duo of Marvin Joseph Youngman and left back Isa Mubiru who arrived from Solitilo Bright Stars and UPDF FC respectively.
Vipers SC will symbolize Uganda in the 2022/23 CAF Champions League after being crowned champions of the 2021/22 StarTimes Uganda Premier League
