
OFFICIAL: KCCA FC Confirm Third Signing
Kampala City Council Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) have completed the signing of former Edgar’s FC and Mydel Academy teenager Saidi Mayanja ahead of the coming season.
Mayanja, 18 has put pen to paper on a five-year employment contract that will keep him at Phillip Omondi until july 2027.
This development was announced on Sunday evening via the club’s official website.
“Teenager Saidi Mayanja has penned a 5-year deal with KCCA FC from 2022 – 2027,” reads part of the club statement.
“I am overjoyed to sign for KCCA FC. When the Manager told me he wants to work with me, i just could not hesistate,” Saidi told kccafc.co.ug.
“This is a very big club and I could not resist the opportunity to play for it. I know the competition here is pretty stiff since i have been training with club for a while but I am ready for it. I am here to compete just like all other players in the squad.”
The versatile midfielder will give coach Morley Bwyekwaso more options in the middle of the park, along with the likes of Moses Waiswa, Faisal Wabyoona, Ashraf Mugume, and Emmanuel Wasswa.
He turns into membership the third signing for Kasassiro Boys after the arrivals of after Moses Waiswa and fellow teenager Faisal Wabyoona.
Gift Ali Abubakar, Kigozi Samson Andrew, Kasirye Davis, Wafula Innocent Esimu, Erisa Ssekisambu, Kaddu Patrick, Bukenya Joseph and Yassar Mugerwa are some of the players that have already parted ways with KCCA FC ahead of the coming season.
