Alfred Leku: Zambian Outfit Zesco United Sign Arua Hill SC Striker

Zambian premier league entity Zesco United Football Club have completed the signing of Arua Hill Sports Club striker Alfred Leku.

Leku has signed a one-year employment contract that will keep him at the club until July 2023.

“ZESCO United is delighted to announce the signing of Ugandan striker, Alfred Leku on a 1-year deal subject to completing medicals.” reads part of club statement.

“Leku is expected to beef up ZESCO United’s striking force following the retirement of veteran striker Winston Kalengo.”

The 24 year-old has previously played for Proline FC, Vipers SC, Onduparaka FC, Jwaneng Galaxy FC (Botswana), Express FC and most recently Arua Hill SC.

ZESCO United will symbolize Zambia in the CAF Confederations Cup after finishing 2nd on the Zambian premier league last season.
