Maroons Football Club Confirm First Signing
Newly promoted StarTimes Uganda Premier League outfit Maroons Football Club have officially confirmed Noel Nasasira as their first signing for the coming 2022/23 season.
Nasasira joins the Mbili Mbili as a free agent after having unsuccessful semi-professional stint with Somalian side Gaadika last season.
The forward has signed a one-year employment contract that will keep him at Luzira play grounds until 2023. The club have confirmed on Friday evening.
“Maroons FC is delighted to announce the acquisition of sharp forward Noel Nassasira on a year contract,” Reads Club statement.
Nasasira has previously played for KCCA FC, on loan to Ndejje University in the second tier division (FUFA Big League) during the 2016-2017 season as he guided Ndejje University to promotion in the top division. The same year he won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) for the FUFA Big League.
He also featured for Kyetume FC, Onduparaka FC and most recently Gaadika in Somalia
Defender Ceasar Sahni Olega, midfieder Felix Keita Okot and goalkepeer Emmanuel Akol are some of the players that have officially extended their contracts for further more years with the Club.
