
KCCA FC Bolster Squad With Congolese Center Forward
Kampala City Council Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) have bolstered their squad with yet another signing for the upcoming 2022-23 SUPL season.
In a statement released on Friday evening, KCCA FC unveiled Tshisungu Kankonde from Congolese Linafoot side AS Dauphin Noir de Goma.
Kankonde has penned a two-year employment contract with the Kasassiro Boys that will keep him at Phillip Omondi Stadium untill July 2024 the club have confirmed.
“Tshisungu Kankonde has penned a two-year deal with KCCA FC from 2022 – 2024,” said the club in the statement.
“I am so happy to join a big club like KCCA FC which is also respected on the continent,” Kankonde told www.kccafc.co.ug.
“Back in DRC, this club is known for its great history and when the opportunity to join the club was presented to me I could not resist. I have read so much about the history of this club and I have tasked myself to add value and history to this great club.”
“I am certain the club and the technical team will push me to my ultimate best and that is exactly what I want to acheive. I know some players in the squad like John Revita who previously played in The Democratic Republic of Congo and I am sure I will settle in well. The Coach has already shared with me his expectations and I am looking forward to playing with my new mates,” he concluded.

The center half will give coach Morley Bwyekwaso more options in the striking department along with the likes of Sadat Anaku, Brian Aheebwa, Brian Kayanja, and Charles Lwanga among others.
The 23-year-old has previously featured for Congolese sides Etoile Jaune de Bukavu, Union Sportive Tshinkunku de Kananga and Academie Club de Kananga.
He turns into membership the fifth signing for Kasassiro Boys after the arrivals of after Moses Waiswa, Faisal Wabyoona, Saidi Mayanja, and Allan Enyou.
Gift Ali Abubakar, Kigozi Samson Andrew, Kasirye Davis, Wafula Innocent Esimu, Erisa Ssekisambu, Kaddu Patrick, Bukenya Joseph and Yassar Mugerwa are some of the players that have already parted ways with KCCA FC ahead of the coming season.
