
Onduparaka FC Look Set To Part Ways With Ten Players.
As Onduparaka Football Club begun pre-season training this week, Dribbler Sports understands that a number of players are expected to leave the club in the current transfer window.
According to information recieved by this website, about ten players didn’t turn up for pre-season training in the first week with their future uncertain.
Talisman Muhammad Shaban lead the list of absentees with his future uncertain. Shaban is a free-agent following the expiry of his employment contract with the Caterpillars and unconfirmed reports has it that KCCA FC have already agreed terms with the star.
Furthermore Youngster Atamba Nathaniel is reportedly looking for a move away from the Caterpillars due to limited game-time. The star who joined the club last season on a one-year employment contract from USA based club Minneapolis FC had stagnated time with Onduparaka FC and is opting to find play time elsewhere.
Katerega Abasi, Sengonja Possiano and Mubiru Ronald all didn’t turn up for the pre-season and are believed to be on their way out of Ababet GreenLight Stadium. As versatile and aggressive defender Isaac Okello is set to rejoin the Leopards for a second stint.
The duo of Matovu Patrick and Patrick Sserunjogi who joined Onduparaka FC in January this year on a one-year deal each from Arua Hill SC and Tooro United respectively could both be heading out of the Caterpillars camp.
Meanwhile the club have already parted ways with Matata Gabriel and Geriga Hamza ahead of the coming season.
The Caterpillars are also reportedly set to announce Haruna Mawa as their new head coach after failing to agree terms with former Arua Hill SC mentor Swadiq Ssempigi and Dudu Bosco in the hotseat.
The WestNile gaints have already extended the contract of Gadafi Gadinho for further one more year ahead of the coming campaign.
