ARUA DISTRICT 4TH DIVISION WRAP: Leaders Leo, Kuluva Maintain Unbeaten Runs While Airfield FC Move To 2nd Place After Thrashing Anyafio FC
There was a host of Arua District Fourth Division League games on Sunday evening with 6 games on the menu today.
Northern and Southern Zone table toppers Leo Football Club and Kuluva Rainbow FC extended their unbeaten run to 11 matches while Airfield FC moved to the second place after recording thier 5th win of the campaign.
Leo Football Club continued their perfect form as they defeated Day Star FC 2-0 at Alua play grounds.
Victory means Leo FC remain unbeaten and at the top of Northern Zone log with 28 points from 11 games while Day Star FC drop to the third place with 17 points after 17 matches.
At Salim Saleh Play Grounds Airfield FC leapfrogged Day Star FC in the 2nd place of the Northern Zone table standings after thrashing Anyafio FC 4-0.
Defeat means Anyafio Football Club are dwelling at the base of the Northern Zone log standings with 3 points from 9 games.
Meanwhile Ediofe Hills returned to their winning ways after seeing off Villa K 1-0 at Ania Play Grounds.
Victory sees Ediofe Hills remain in the 3rd place from the bottom of Northern Zone log with 11 points just 6 points above Villa K who are rooted in the 2nd place from the bottom of the log.
Elsewhere Kuluva Rainbow FC maintained their unbeaten run as they defeated Aya FC 2-0 at Aya Play Grounds.
The result means Kuluva Rainbow remain at the top of Southern Zone log standings with 28 points from 10 games while Aya FC are sitting 2nd from the bottom of the log with 8 points after 10 matches.
