ARUA 4TH DIVISION WRAP: LEO & Kuluva Maintain Leads At The Top Of Northern & Southern Zone Respectively After Registering Wins In Matchday4
There were wins for Leo Football Club, Kuluva Rainbow FC and Daystar FC while Oli Raising Stars and Airfield FC shared spoils after playing to a 1-1 during an action parked Arua District Fourth Division League encounters played on Tuesday evening.
Leo FC 1-0 Villa K:
Northern Zone table toppers, Leo Football Club extended their unbeaten run to 4 games after stunning 10-man Villa K 1-0 at Salim Saleh grounds.
Osuta Jude Gerrard scored a late winner in the extra time and his second goal of the season to hand Leo FC their third win of the campaign.
Victory means Leo FC remained at top of Northern Zone table with 10 points from 4 games while Villa K are rooted in the 2nd place from the bottom of the log with a point from 2 games.
Leo FC are back in action on Friday 27 May as they visit Ediofe Hills at Ediofe Boys play grounds while Villa K host Oli Rising Soccer Club on Sunday 29 May in their next encounter.
Day Star 2-1 Ediofe Hills:
Elsewhere Day Star FC recorded their second win of the season after defeating Ediofe Hills 2-1 at Alua play grounds.
Ediofe Hills’ loss saw them fall in the third place with 6 points from 4 games while Day Star move to the 2nd place in the Northern Zone table standings with 7 points from 3 games.
Both teams are back in action on Friday 27 May as Day Star face Arua Airfield FC while Ediofe Hills challenge Leo FC at Ediofe Boys play grounds.
Ovisoni FC 0-1 Kuluva Rainbow:
Kuluva Rainbow FC returned to their winning ways with a 1-0 win over Ovisoni FC at Ezuku play grounds.
Victory means Kuluva Rainbow extended their lead at the top of Southern Zone table standings to 10 points from 4 games while Ovisoni FC sit in the 2nd from the bottom of the log with 3 points from 3 games.
Both teams are back in action on Friday 27 as Ovisoni FC visit Bondo United at Bondo while Kuluva Rainbow host Vurra United at Kuluva play grounds.
Oli Raising SC 1-1 Airfield:
Lastly Oli Raising Soccer Club and Arua Airfield FC couldn’t be seperated after playing to a 1-1 draw at Police grounds while Muni FC vs Bondo United and Vurra United vs Aya FC matches were abandoned due to unknown reasons.
