Shafiq Bisaso Set To Replace Koukouras At Sports Club Villa

Former Sports Club Villa and Proline FC coach Shafiq Bisaso is set to make a sensational return to Jogoo to replace Greek tactician Petros Koukouras.

According to Swift Sports, the Jogoos management are considering to sack Petros Koukouras following his unsuccessful campiangn.

In his first season in charge of SC Villa, Koukouras found himself battling against relegation as he finished the campaign in the 12th position on the SUPL log with 33 points from 30 games just four points above the relegation zone.

As results Sports Club Villa are now considering to replace Koukouras with coach Shafiq Bisaso who is currently in England.

Villa’s former President William Nkemba has already kick started negotiations with Shafiq Bisaso for a possible switch.

Incase the move materializes, Bisaso will be making a sensational return to a club he led in the 2016–2017 Uganda Premier League season.

In 2018/2019 Bisaso guided Proline to the Uganda Premier league promotion and won the club’s maiden Stanbic Uganda cup trophy.

He previously worked at Soana FC ( now Tooro United), Express FC and Proline FC.
