
Fabien Mutombora Suffered A Serious Head Injury During Vipers Win Over URA FC
Vipers Sports Club custodian Fabien Mutombora suffered a serious head injury during their 3-0 win against Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club at Arena of Visions in Ndejje on Tuesday evening.
The Burundian goalkeeper suffered a head injury and was subsequently substituted by Denis Kiggundu as he was taken to hospital in an ambulance after recieving treatment on the pitch.
As he was taken to hospital, the Venoms outsmarted the Tax Collectors with 3-0 victory courtesy of goals from skipper Halid Lwaliwa, Ceaser Manzoki and Yunus Sentamu.
Vipers SC released the following statement regarding Fabien Mutombora’s situation on their official verified Twitter account.
We would like to wish a quick and easy recovery to our goalkeeper Fabien Mutombora who was rushed to the hospital after suffering a head injury during our game against URA FC at the Arena of Visions, Ndejje.

Victory means Vipers extended their lead at the top of the log to 55 points from 23 games while URA FC remained in the third place of the log with 43 points from 25 games.
The Venoms are back in action on Saturday 16th April 22 as they visit Kampala City Council Authority Football Club at Phillip Omondi Stadium.
