BUL FC, Onduparaka FC Share Spoils In A Goalles Draw At Bugembe
BUL FC and Onduparaka Football Club shared spoils after playing to a 0-0 draw in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League Matchday26 encounter played at Kyabazinga Stadium on Saturday evening.
The Eastern made two changes from their previous squad that beat SC Villa 2-1 with the gaffer handing Ambrose Kirya and Lawrence Kasadha their debuts as they replaced Hillary Onek and Martin Aprem respectively.
The Caterpillars on the other made three changes from the squad that defeated Express FC 2-0, introducing Micheal Kagiri, Jarieko James and Ivan Okello for Mathias Muwanga, Mansoor Safi Agu and Mayanja Davis respectively.
Onduparaka FC goalkeeping coach Ibrahim Kongo was sent in the 76th minute after getting furious with referee Komakech Charles’ decision as both sides settled for a goalles draw at the final whistle.
The draw means BUL FC remained in the 4th place of the log with 46 points from 27 matches meanwhile Onduparaka FC are in the 8th place of the with 34 points from 26 games.
BUL FC are back in action on Saturday May 7 away to Express FC at Betway Mutessa II Wankulukuku Stadium while Onduparaka FC host Vipers SC in their next encounter at Ababet GreenLight Stadium on Tuesday, 3 May.
Bright Stars 1-0 Gaddafi FC:
Elsewhere Bright Stars Football Club defeated Gaddafi Football Club 1-0 in their StarTimes Uganda Premier League encounter played at Kavuma Recreational Center.
Derrick Ngoobi scored the only goal of the clash as Bright Stars recorded their seventh win of the season.
Victory means Bright Stars FC remained in the 10th place of the log with 30 points after 26 games while Gadafi FC are in the 12th place of the log with 28 points from 27 games.
Bright Stars FC are back in action on Tuesday, 3rd May away to KCCA FC at Phillip Omondi Stadium while Gaddafi FC back in action on Friday, 6 May as they host Tooro United at Gadafi Barracks.
