
Ruthless BUL Crush UPDF 5-1 At Kyabazinga
BUL FC thumped Uganda Peoples Defense Force Football Club 5-1 in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League encounter played at Kyabazinga Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Oketch Peter bagged a magical brace while Karim Ndugwa, Ibrahim Kazindula and Richard Wandyaka scored a goal each for the Eastern Gaints who registered their 9th win of the season.
Walter Ochora scored in his own net for a consolation goal for UPDF FC who were condemned to their 7th defeat of the season.
BUL FC went a goal up through new signing Karim Nddugwa who found the back of the net just 7 minutes from the kickoff for a 1-0 lead.
Oketch Peter doubled the lead for the hosts in the 20 minutes following a delivery from Nddugwa as BUL FC took a 2-0 leat at the interval.
After the break UPDF FC pulled one back through Walter Ochora who scored in his own net in the 53rd minute for a 2-1 lead.
Ibrahim Kazindula reclaimed the 2-goal lead for BUL FC after scoring from a penalty kick following a foul on Martin Aprem in the 71 minutes for a 3-1 lead.
Oketch then completed his own brace and the fourth goal for BUL FC just 4 minutes to the clock before Ibrahim Nsimbe put the game to bed in the 94th minute to hand BUL FC a 5-1 win over UPDF FC.
The result saw BUL FC remained in the 4th place of the log with 33 points from 19 games while UPDF FC are in 9th place of the log with 22 points after 19 matches.
BUL FC are back in action on Friday 11th March 2022 as they visit Bright Stars at Kavuma Recreational Center. UPDF FC meanwhile host Arua Hill SC at Bombo Military Barracks Stadium on Wednesday 8th March 2022 in their next encounter
