Uganda cup: Mbarara City FC,URA Clash postponed.
The Competitions committee of the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) postponed the Uganda cup match between Mbarara City and URA FC.
The match which was slated to take place on Thursday 24th February 3:00 pm at Kakyeeka stadium has now been shifted to Saturday 26th February at the same venue
Mbarara City FC asked for the postponement of the game as their home ground Kakyeeka stadium is under use by the Mbarara district council in various services.
“Greetings from the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA). This serves to inform you that the game between Mbarara City vs URA FC has been postponed from Thursday 24th to Saturday 26th February.”
“The reason for the above is the unavailability of Kakyeeka stadium on Thursday 24th as communicated to us by the club.” Read part of the document.
The winner of the clash joins Tipsha FC,Kataka and Onduparaka who passed their round of 32 tests on Wednesday.
Wakiso Giants, UPDF, Iganga Young, Mbale Heroes and Ndejje University had already booked their spots as well.
