Kataka football club have knocked out Westnile Stabic Uganda cup Representatives Paidah Black Angels to Advance to the Round of 16.
Mbale based Startimes FUFA Big league side Kataka football club thrashed Westnile Stabic Uganda cup Representatives Paidah Black Angeles 2-0 in Uganda cup to make a statement to advance to the Round of 16.
Westnile born son Okur Swamad scored a peach of a goal to open the scoring for the hosts,the westniler curled in beautifully to beat the Paidah goal keeper Kataka looked hungry for more as they did not want to settle with just a one-goal lead.
Another westnilier Onziku Baba scored the second of the evening, capping off a beautiful team move to slot in from six yards to put kataka on a two goal lead.
Kataka defeated Westnile Representatives Paidah Black Angels 2-0 in Mbale Municipal Stadium in Mbale ,the “Lufumbi Stars are aiming for both promotion to the StarTimes Uganda premier league and Representing Uganda in the CAF Confederation cup next Season.
Now the Mbale based FUFA Big league side joins Mbale Heroes,UPDF fc, Iganga Young, Ndejje university, Wakiso Giants, Onduparaka and Tipsha to the Round of 16 Stabic Uganda cup.
