Debutant Eruga On Target As Tipsha FC Send Kitara Packing From Stanbic Uganda Cup

West Nile Regional League entity Tipsha Football Club made history in Koboko after stunning FUFA Big side Kitara FC 2-1 in the Stanbic Uganda Cup Round 32 clash played at Nyarilo Play Grounds on Wednesday afternoon.

Mahad Omari and debutant Eruga Michael scored in either sides of the encounter as Ball Drivers defeated Kitara FC to progress to next round of the tournament.

Kyomuhendo Charles scored a consolation goal for the visitors as they were sent packing from Stanbic Uganda Cup.

Omari put the hosts ahead after finding the back of the net just 10 minutes from the clock.

10 minutes later the visitors got an equalizer through Kyomuhendo Charles as both sides settled for a 1-1 stalemate in the first stanza.

The second half saw debutant Eruga Michael opened his goal scoring account for Tipsha FC with a brilliant strike just five minutes to the stoppage time.

The result means Tipsha FC advanced to last 16 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup. Kitara FC meanwhile bowed out of tournament.
