Proline 1-0 Nyamityobora: Musoke Scores On Debut As Proline Stun Nyamityobora
Joshua Musoke scored on his debut as Proline Football Club edged out Nyamityobora 1-0 in a FUFA Big League encounter played at the MTN Omondi Stadium on Thursday afternoon for what was their fourth win of the season.
Musoke came off the bench and netted in the 72nd minutes of the clash after firing home from Joshua Okiror’s delivery.
The opening half belonged almost entirely to the home side as they pressed ceaselessly for a breakthrough.
The first big chance of the game came in the 30th minute, with Proline unlucky not to score after Lutaaya’s blunder saw Brian Umony poke the ball over the bar.
However, the visitors did at least end the half well as both sides settled for a goalless draw in the first stanza.
After the break substitute Musoke opened his goal scoring account for Proline after firing home from Okiror’s delivery for a 1-0 lead.
That however proved to be the last major goalmouth action as the hosts saw out the remainder of the game without much issue to record maximum points.
Victory lifts Proline temporarily to the 4th place from the bottom of the log with 13 points after 16 games. Nyamityobora FC meanwhile are with 7 points after 11 games.
