
Calvery FC Appoints New Interim CEO
West Nile based FUFA Big League entity Calvary Football Club have completed the process of electing a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
The Horizon Stars have officially unvieled Anguzu Joseph, the club’s Finance Officer as their next Chief Executive Officer on interim basis until the end of the season.
The unveiling ceremony was held on Wednesday 9th Feb 2022 at HI-5 in Arua.
Anguzu takes over the mantle to succeed Adebo David, who recently stepped down as the club CEO after serving the Yumbe based entity for 13-years.

“I’m delighted to be appointed as a the new CEO of the club,” Anguzu told reporters.
“As I told you In this particular office of the CEO I’m new but I have short term objectives of resource mobilization, making sure all fixtures are fullfiled. My big plan is to ensure the club earn promotion to the top-tier and also to expose our talents to the world.”
For Staters, Anguzu Joseph is a professional secondary teacher who also has a certificate in Social Works. He was born in 1978 in Arua and is currently 44-years old. He has been working with Calvary FC for the past 15 year.
In 2017 he was appointed as club’s official Finance Officer a job he served for over 5 years.
Anguzu’s appointment comes in ahead of the resumption of the StarTimes FUFA Big League where Calvary FC will kick-start their second round campaign against Maroons FC at Ababet GreenLight Stadium in Arua on Thursday 10th Feb 2022.
Ahead of tommorow’s clash Calvary FC head coach Godfrey Akena confirmed that all his players are fit and prepared to for the show-piece.
Calvery FC completed the first half of the StarTimes FUFA Big League season in the 5th place with 16 points just 2 points adrift leaders Blacks Power who are with 18 points after 10 games.
