Bright Stars 0-3 URA FC: Steven Mukwala Scores Twice As Tax Collectors Ease Past Bright Stars
Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club registered an emphatic 3-0 win over Bright Stars Football Club in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League encounter played at Kavuma Recreational Grounds on Tuesday afternoon.
A goal from Viane Ssekajjugo and a brace from Steven Mukwala saw the Tax Collectors condemn Paul Kiwanuka to his first defeat on his debut as the head coach of Bright Stars.
Viane Ssekajjugo opened the lead for the Tax Collectors after curling through the back of the net for a 1-0 in the first stanza.
After the break Steven Mukwala doubled the lead for the visitors for a 2-0 lead. Before completing his own brace at the extra time of the clash for a 3-0 win.
Victory means URA FC move to the 5th place of the log with 25 points after games while Bright Stars are dwelling in the 2nd place from the bottom of the log with 11 points after 15 games.
Bright Stars are back in action on Friday 11th/02/22 as they host Mbarara City FC at Kavuma Recreational Grounds while URA FC are back in action on Friday 4th Feb 2022 against Busoga United at FUFA Technical Center.
