KCCA FC says that they are unable to honor a rescheduled Uganda Premier League game between them and Onduparaka FC slated for Thursday, 3rd February 2022 at Bombo Military Grounds.
The rescheduled match comes after the initial clash between the two sides was called off prematurely following violent scenes exhibited by the home fans on December 27 2021 at the Green Light Stadium, Arua.
KCCA are still not in bed with the idea of a replay on vow not to show up on match day.
“Reference is made to your circular on several rescheduled matches circulation various social media channels over the weekend wherein KCCA FC is destined to play the game against Onduparaka on Thursday 3rd February 2022 at Bombo Military Grounds. Reads a letter by KCCA FC sent to the UPL CEO.
“We hereby guide that we are unable to honour this fixture as we await determination of our appeal presented to the FUFA Appeals body,” KCCA said via a missive circulated on Monday evening.
