FC Total 0-4 URA FC: Tax Collectors Ease Into Last-32 With Five Star Win In Yumbe
Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club advanced to the next round of the competition after claiming a comfortable 4-0 victory over FC Total at Geya Primary School play ground in Yumbe.
Ibrahim Dada bagged a magical brace while Viane Ssekajjugo and skipper Shafik Kagimu were all on target to hand the Tax Collectors the much needed win.
Viane Ssekajjugo opened the lead for the Tax Collectors just three minutes to the break.
Dada doubled the lead at the stroke of the break with a calm finish off Kagimu’s delivery.
After the break skipper Kagimu added the third following a cross from Ibrahim Dada before Dada completed his own brace and the fourth to hand URA FC a 4-0 win over FC Total.
Victory means URA FC progressed to the last 16 of the tournament while FC Total of Yumbe crashed out of the tournament.
Elsewhere Kalongo United Football Club beat Adjumani Town Council 1-0 in the Stanbic Uganda Cup round 64 clash played at Kalongo Institute Ground in Agogo on Saturday afternoon.
The result saw Kalongo United advanced to the last 16 of the show-piece while Adjumani TC bowed out of the tournament.
