URA FC Confirm Shock Death Of Head Coach Sam Timbe
Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club have have announced the shocking death of their head coach Sam Timbe.
Timbe passed away while he was been rushed to Nakasero Hospital for ICU, as referred by St Catherine Hospital on Sunday afternoon.
URA’s official Twitter account revealed the sad news of their esteemed head coach.
“We are saddened to inform you of the unfortunate passing of our esteemed Head Coach, Sam Timbe, this afternoon while en route to Nakasero Hospital for ICU, as referred by St Catherine Hospital. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time,” reads club statement.
The 69-year old joined the Tax Collectors in September 2021 after replacing Sam Simbwa as the club’s head coach.
He has previously coached SC Villa, Police FC, Atraco FC (Rwanda) Tusker FC(Kenya), Young Africans (Tanzania) and most recently URA FC.
