Transfer update: Allan Bukenya joins Police FC.
FUFA Big League entity Police FC have confirmed the signing of defender Allan Bukenya ahead of the 2023-24 season.
Bukenya joins the Corps from Katwe United Football Club as they look forward to attaining promotion from the big league back to the top tier of Ugandan football that is the Uganda premier league.
According to the official post from Police FC, Allan has signed a two year contract that will see him stay at the club til the summer of 2025.
“Defender Allan Bukenya has joined Police FC from Katwe United. The lanky fullback, formerly at Kyetume FC and Soana FC Junior Team has penned a two year deal to stay with us until 2025,” Reads club statement on Twitter.
The defender will be tasked with a duty of tightening Police FC defense as they plan to put more forces at the back line.
Bukenya previously featured for clubs like Kyetume and Soana FC respectively all in Uganda before joining Katwe united.
