
Eng William Oloya And Seven Ugandan Referees Selected For CAF Duty
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has selected top Ugandan referees to officiate in CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup.
Eng William Oloya Wilberforce and seven other top Ugandan referees will be flying the country’s flag high when they will take charge of CAF CL and CAF CC matches.
The WestNile born referee will William Oloya will be the centre referee when Kenya’s Kakamega Homeboyz FC host Libyan side Al Hilal in the CAF CC clash on Saturday at Nyayo Stadium.
Oloya will be assisted by his fellow countrymen Isa Masembe and Emmanuel Okudra as first and second assistant respectively while Mashood Ssali is the fourth official.
Meanwhile another top Ugandan referee Ali Sabila Chelangat will be the centre referee in the CAF CL clash derby when Sudan’s Al Hilal host Salaam Bor of South Sudan at the El Jadida on August 26.
Sabila will be deputized by fellow countrymen Ronald Katenya and Hakim Mulindwa as first and second referee respectively while Lucky Kasalirwe will be the fourth official.
