URA FC Part Ways With Long-Serving Right Back
Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club have confirmed the departure of long-serving right back Ronal Kigongo.
Kigongo one of the longest serving players in the current team, leaves the Tax Collectors after seven years.
His departure was announced on Wednesday via the club’s official website.
“URA FC have parted ways with utility player Ronald Kigongo after seven years of diligent service,” reads club statement
“We would like to thank Kigongo for the seven years of diligent service and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”
Kigongo joined the Tax Collectors in 2016 from Maroons on a four year deal that was later extented in 2020 for another 3 more years. His current contract with the Tax Collectors is set to expire at the end of the month.
It is not yet clear which team he will join next season but Dribbler Sports will always keep you posted incase he gets a new.
The Tax Collectors completed the just concluded season in the 5th place of the log on 42 points.
