REPORTS: Sam Simbwa Leaves Kitara FC After Guiding The Club Back UPL
FUFA Big League champions Kitara Football Club have reportedly parted ways with head coach Sam Ssimbwa.
Ssimbwa joined the Royals at the start of the second round of 2022/23 FUFA Big League season on short term deal until the end of the season with an option to renew his contract if he guides Kitara back to the Uganda Premier League.
However few weeks after guiding Kitara back to premier league and winning the FUFA Big league, the CAF A licensed gaffer have reportedly left his role as the head coach of Kitara FC.
According to the SportsNation, Ssimbwa and Kitara have failed to reach an agreement for contract renewal ahead of the club’s return to local top flight.
The experienced tactician replaced Mark Twinamatsiko who suspended by Kitara FC after the end of the 2022/23 FUFA Big League first round.
He has previously coached Tooro United, Express FC, KCCA FC, URA FC and most recently Kitara FC.
