FUFA Big League side Police Fc became the first team to book a place in the semi finals of this year’s Stanbic Uganda cup after eliminating defending champions BUL FC.
Police Fc beat BUL FC 2-1 in the match played at Kavumba recreation ground on Wednesday 12th of April.
Derrick Ngobi own goal and Ronald Sempala strike were enough to send the cops to the last four.

Someon Masaba coached side took an early lead after three minutes capitalizing from Martin Aprem assist.
Three minutes to an hour mark Derrick Ngobi put the ball in his own net after Jackson Semugabi header had hit the post, hence levelling matters for the hosts.
Seven Sempala put Angelo Lonyesi side in the lead heading home Denis Kalanzi well calculated cross from the left.
The result means Police Fc are through to the semi finals waiting for the other three teams to make it four.
For Someon Masaba pressure continues to pile on him. This was the third defeat in five games since taking over from Alex Isabirye who crossed to Vipers SC.
His only victory at BUL FC came at the round of 16 when he recommended a 1-0 against Onduparaka Fc in Arua.
In the league, BUL FC are winless since the start of second round. They sit 4th with 30 points.
Next on agenda, Police Fc shift focus to top flight fight promotion. They visit Soroti City Fc on Sunday 16th of April.
They are currently 4th with 43 points from 24 games, one below NEC FC who are 3rd.
BUL FC hosts Busoga United in the league on 12th of this month.
