Jinja North United and Booma fc settled for a point each after a 1-1 score line in the FUFA Big League at Kyabazinga stadium.
This was the last fixture of matchday 24.
First half ended 1-0 in favour of the home team a goal scored by Paul Kibande.
Kibande put the Jinja side in the lead one minute to the break with a free headers off David Bagole free kick.
Seven minutes off the second stanza, captain and league top scorer Omedi Denis drew the Tukyate Boys level from Jamal Malish cross from the right.
Omedi took his tally to 21 goals in 24 games.
Alinaitwe Fred coached side came closer to taking the lead through Hope Aganyira and Sempijja John Bosco but failed to positively use the chances.
Five minutes to normal time Booma fc had a penalty appeal after the Jinja North United defender handled the ball in the box but the center referee was not bothered.
The result left Booma fc 6th on the table with 35 points, one bellow 5th placed Calvary Fc.
Jinja North United too remained 7th with 34 points.
Booma fc will return home Masindi stadium welcoming Lugazi Fc on Thursday 13th April.
