OFFICIAL: URA FC Sign Striker Alfred Leku
Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club have reinforced their squad with signing of striker Alfred Leku ahead of the second half of 2022/23 SUPL season.
LeKu joins the Tax Collectors on a two-year employment contract as a free agent following the termination of his employment contract by Zambian outfit Zesco United FC.
This development was announced on Saturday via the club’s official website.
“URA FC have completed the signing of striker Alfred Leku on a two year contract,” reads club statement.
The forward has previously featured for Vipers SC, Onduparaka FC, Express FC, Proline FC, Arua Hill SC and most recently Zesco United in Zambia.
He turns into membership the fourth signing for the club after the arrivals of Bruno Junior Bunyaga, Nicholas Kabonge, Joshua Letti Lubwama and Joseph Ssemujju.
A lot will be expected from the West Nile-born star as The Tax Collectors are looking for a striker to help solve their goal scoring problems that saw them end the first round in the 11th place of the SUPL log on 14 points just 4 points above the drop zone.
URA FC will begin their second half campaign away to Onduparaka FC on Saturday 11th/02/2023 at AbaBet Green Light stadium in Arua City.
