
BUL FC Boost Defense With Addition of Center Back
Stanbic Uganda Cup Champions BUL Football Club have bolstered their squad by announcing the arrival of center back Benson Tahomera.
Tahomera joins the Eastern Gaints from Kyetume Football Club ahead of the coming 2022-23 season.
He has has signed a two year employment contract that will see him through June 2024, the club confirmed on Wednesday afternoon.
Part of a club statement read: “BUL football club have signed Benon Tahomera from Kyetume.”
“The center back has signed a contract that runs until June 2024.”
“I feel BUL is the right club I should play for. It’s one of the biggest in the country and always competitive on all fronts,” Tahomera told bulfc.co.ug
“Playing for it is an honor for me. Now I want to win the league, defend the Uganda cup as well as put up a good performance in the confederations cup.”
Tahomera has previously played for MYDA FC and most recently Kyetume FC.
He turns into membership the sixth signing for the Eastern gaints after the arrivals of Frank Kalanda, Otti Ronald, Emmanuel Obua, Tom Ikara and Anthony Mayanja.
The club also added Simeone Masaba to their technical backroom staff ahead of the coming season.
Simon Peter Oketch Martin Aprem and Reagan Kalyowa are some of the players that have already extended their contracts with BUL FC.
BUL FC will symbolize Uganda in the CAF Confederations Cup after winning the 2021/22 Stanbic Uganda Cup trophy.
