Teenager Faisal Wabyoona has stated that he feels “happy” after signing for StarTimes Uganda Premier League entity Kampala City Council Authority Football Club (KCCA FC)
Wabyoona has agreed a five-year employment contract that will keep him at Lugogo until 2027.
Speaking to KCCA FC website he said: “I feel very happy to sign for KCCA FC. This is a very big club and I am aware of the task at hand but I am ready for the competition.”
“I have worked with the Manager Morley Byekwaso at the U20 National Team and this was an easy decision for me to make. I can wait to get started soon with the lads.”
The versatile midfielder was part of the Uganda Hippos in the AFCON U20 finals in Mauritania 2021 under the tutelage of Morley Byekwaso.
He is a product of Big Talent Academy and has previously featured for Bright Stars FC.
Wabyoona turns into membership the second signing for KCCA FC after the arrival of Moses Waiswa.
